Service Fees + Cancellation Policy
Starting January 1st, 2024, new fees will be in effect. Please note that besides individual sessions, our services include team meetings, email/phone correspondence, assessments, report writing, and consultations with your employer, school, or other healthcare providers
Please be reminded that we have a strict cancellation policy of 2 full business days' notice (Monday-Friday 9-5 p.m.). Clients who fail to cancel their appointment within the stipulated time frame will be charged the full session fee. NDIS Participants, in line with the NDIS guidelines, are required to provide a 5-day notice of cancellation; otherwise, they will incur the full session fee.

No, We do not bulk bill
Does my Private Hospital coverage help with costs?
It depends on your provider and therapist, as well as your Health Fund. Not all therapists, coverage levels, or issues are included. Check with your Health Fund. Our clients recommend BUPA, Teachers Health, Uni Health, and LaTrobe for good coverage.
Do you bulk-bill?
We do not bulk-bill Medicare referrals. There will be out-of-pocket expenses for GP referrals.
Does Medicare Safety Net Apply?
At Emerald Tree, we're here to help you understand how Medicare works. If your doctor has referred you, you might wonder how it affects your costs. With a Medicare referral, your expenses count toward the Medicare Safety Net. Once you reach this limit, your Medicare rebate goes up, saving you money. However, Medicare doesn't cover relationship counselling. But we're here to support you through relationship challenges with our qualified counsellors. You don't need a referral to see us, and many clients choose this option. For more about the Medicare Safety Net, contact your local Medicare office. They can explain it in detail.
