Service Fees for 2024
Please see the below for our Service Fees for 2024, Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy.
Service Fees + Cancellation Policy
Please note that Emerald Tree is a full fee-paying service. In addition to your sessions, our services include team meetings, email/phone correspondence, assessments, report writing, and consultations with your employer, school, or other healthcare providers which als incur fees if you require them.
We would also like to remind you of our strict cancellation policy. To avoid being charged the full session fee, we require a minimum of 2 full business days' notice for cancellations (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). For NDIS participants, in adherence to NDIS guidelines, a 5-day notice of cancellation is required to avoid incurring the full session fee.
Emerald Tree has a firm no bullying + aggression policy. Our team are here to support you in your mental health and well-being. We will not tolerate aggressive debates regarding fees in professional requirements. As strong advocates for a community that is safe and free of harassment and mechanisms of cohesive control, will report any acts of aggression and stalking, in-office or social media harassment of our team (clients who engage in this behaviour void their confidentiality agreement).
Does my Private Hospital coverage help with costs?
It depends on your provider and therapist, as well as your Health Fund. Not all therapists, coverage levels, or issues are included. Check with your Health Fund. Our clients recommend BUPA, Teachers Health, Uni Health, and LaTrobe for good coverage.
Do you bulk-bill?
We do not bulk-bill Medicare referrals. There will be out-of-pocket expenses for GP referrals.
Does Medicare Safety Net Apply?
If your doctor has referred you, you might wonder how it affects your costs. With a Medicare referral, your expenses count toward the Medicare Safety Net. Once you reach this limit, your Medicare rebate goes up, saving you money.
Medicare doesn't cover relationship counselling but we're here to support you through relationship challenges with our qualified counsellors. You don't need a referral to see us, and many clients choose this option. For more about the Medicare Safety Net, contact your local Medicare office. They can explain it in detail.
